1. WARRANTY
1.1 The Breeder warrants that the Dog is sold as a Kennel Club registered Hungarian Vizsla. Registration documentation will be provided at no additional cost.
1.2 To the best of the Breeder’s knowledge, the Dog is in good health, free from parasites, and of sound temperament unless otherwise stated in the Puppy Health Certificate.
2. VETERINARY EXAMINATION
2.1 The Dog has received a veterinary examination at the time of its first vaccination.
2.2 The Purchaser agrees to arrange a veterinary health check within 72 hours of collection.
2.3 A full refund may be offered up to twelve (12) weeks of age with supporting veterinary evidence of a congenital defect.
2.4 This guarantee excludes illness, injury, infection, or behavioural issues arising after transfer of ownership.
2.5 The Breeder is not liable for any veterinary costs incurred.
3. BREED CHARACTERISTICS & RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 The Purchaser understands that the Hungarian Vizsla is a high-energy, intelligent, and sensitive working gundog.
3.2 The Purchaser agrees to provide:
A minimum of 2 hours daily exercise once mature
Ongoing training and socialisation
Close human companionship (Vizslas do not thrive when left alone for long periods)
3.3 The Purchaser acknowledges that failure to meet these needs may result in behavioural issues for which the Breeder is not responsible.
4. DIET & GENERAL CARE
4.1 The Puppy has been reared on a specific diet which must be continued for a minimum of six (6) weeks.
4.2 Any dietary changes must be gradual and appropriate for a high-performance breed.
5. NEUTERING / SPAYING
5.1 The Purchaser agrees not to neuter before twelve (12) months unless advised by a veterinarian for medical reasons.
6. BREED HEALTH
6.1 The Breeder undertakes responsible breeding practices including relevant health testing where applicable.
6.2 Conditions known within the breed may include (but are not limited to):
Hip Dysplasia
Epilepsy
Eye conditions
Autoimmune disorders
Certain cancers
6.3 Not all hereditary conditions are testable.
6.4 The Breeder gives no lifetime health guarantee.
6.5 The Purchaser agrees to inform the Breeder of any serious hereditary diagnosis.
7. KENNEL CLUB ENDORSEMENTS
7.1 This Dog is sold with the following Kennel Club endorsements:
7.2 These endorsements will not be removed unless ALL of the following are met:
Dog is over 18 months of age
Passed relevant health testing (hips, eyes, etc.)
Proven sound temperament
Written approval from the Breeder
7.3 The Breeder is under no obligation to remove endorsements.
7.4 If breeding occurs without written consent, the Breeder reserves the right to:
8. BREEDING TERMS (IF APPLICABLE)
8.1 Dogs sold for breeding are priced at £3,000.
8.2 If purchased as a pet and later approved for breeding, the price difference becomes payable prior to endorsement removal.
9. REHOMING & LIFETIME RETURN CLAUSE
9.1 The Purchaser must never sell, give away, or transfer ownership of the Dog without contacting the Breeder first.
9.2 At any point in the Dog’s life, the Breeder must be offered the opportunity to:
Take the Dog back, or
Assist in rehoming
9.3 This clause applies for the Dog’s entire lifetime.
9.4 No refund will be given upon return.
9.5 Ownership rights must be transferred back to the Breeder if returned.
10. MICROCHIPPING
10.1 The Dog is microchipped prior to sale.
10.2 The Purchaser must update their details within 7 days.
11. VACCINATIONS & PARASITE CONTROL
11.1 First vaccination has been administered.
11.2 The Purchaser must complete the vaccination course.
11.3 The Puppy has been wormed and treated for parasites.
12. INSURANCE
12.1 The Purchaser is strongly advised to maintain pet insurance from the date of collection.
13. DATA PROTECTION
13.1 Purchaser details may be retained for:
KC registration
Microchip records
Welfare follow-up
13.2 Data will not be shared unlawfully.
14. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This document constitutes the entire agreement between both parties.
16. SEVERABILITY
If any clause is deemed invalid, all remaining clauses remain enforceable.
DECLARATION
The Purchaser confirms:
I understand the exercise needs of a Hungarian Vizsla, I can provide sufficient time, training, and companionship
I will not leave the dog अके for prolonged periods
I understand this is a long-term (12–15 year) commitment
I agree to all terms within this contract
