Warranty- The seller warrants that this dog is sold as a purebred Hungarian Vizsla and registration papers with the UK Kennel club will be provided to the purchaser at no additional cost.

To the best of their knowledge at the time of sale the dog is in good health, free of parasites and of sound temperament, unless previously discussed with the purchaser and detailed below.

Vet Check- Your puppy has received a basic veterinary examination at the time of their first vaccination.

The purchaser should also have the dog checked by a veterinarian of his/her choice at his/her expense soon after collection.

We offer a full refund guarantee subject to veterinary report until your puppy is aged 10 weeks of age.

The refund guarantee covers pre-existing congenital conditions it excludes illness and injuries while in your care.

The seller will not be responsible for any vet fees, costs or distress incurred.

The Buyer is recommended to continue the free insurance activated by the seller to ensure continued cover in the event of Illness or accident.

Desired use- Our dogs are sold primarily as companions.

Dogs sold for prospective show and or breeding homes are free from any visible defects likely to be detrimental to this at the time of sale, however as no one can predict exactly how any given dog will mature both structurally and in temperament the seller cannot guarantee that the dog will mature as suitable for these activities and will not offer any form of refund or replacement should the dog mature to be unsuitable.

Castration and spaying- Due to the documented negative affect of the Vizslas ability to mature structurally the purchaser is advised not to spay or neuter their dog prior to them obtaining 12 months of age unless deemed necessary by a veterinary surgeon for health reasons excluding potential behavioural modification.

Diet - Your puppy has been reared on a specially formulated raw diet; the purchaser agrees they will continue with this diet for the minimum of four weeks after homing to avoid digestive upset during the settling in period. After this period any changes made should be to a high-quality breed appropriate diet and should be made gradually.

Breed Health – The Hungarian Vizsla is a generally healthy breed however as with any breed of dog there are some health conditions that have been observed to be more common within the breed.

The current requirements from the UK Kennel Club are that Breeding stock should be hip scored, Elbow score, and eye tested prior to breeding.

In addition to these requirements, we also voluntarily test our breeding stock for ECLE, Cerebellar Ataxia, HUU and the Longhaired gene and audible heart rhythm abnormalities.

Copies of certification for tests performed on your puppy’s parents are supplied in your puppy pack.

Conditions we cannot test for are things such as but not limited to dietary or skin conditions Epilepsy, VIP, MMM, IBD, IMHA, IMT and other autoimmune conditions, we do not breed from dogs that are physically affected with any of these conditions and we keep inbreeding coefficient

low to minimise risk, but we can never guarantee that a pairing will not produce an affected offspring.

By purchasing a Vizsla you accept that there is a risk your dog could be affected by a health condition of some type at some point in their life.
The breeder will not be responsible for any financial loss or distress incurred by the purchaser due to the ill health of the dog.
You are strongly advised to avail yourselves of appropriate insurance to cover unexpected veterinary costs through accident or illness.

We request that if your dog suffers an illness which is deemed to be hereditary by your veterinary surgeon that you inform us to enable us to make more informed breeding decisions.

Breeding- This Dog is sold with a progeny not for registration endorsement R placed on his or her kennel club registration.

Where a dog was sold for potential breeding, the seller will consider the removal of the endorsement subject to the dog or bitch being of sound temperament and suitable conformation and having been health tested for the following

The seller reserves the right to decline to lift a breeding endorsement if they feel it would be detrimental to them the dog or breed to permit breeding.

Endorsements do not affect going on holiday, second overseas homes or competitions abroad with your pet., More information on endorsements can be viewed upon the kennel club website.

Rehoming - The purchaser agrees not to sell, gift or loan the dog to any third party without informing the seller, if it becomes necessary to find a new home for the dog, the purchaser should first contact the seller for assistance.

If required, the seller will take in for rehoming puppies aged under 6 months.

Owners of puppies aged under 6 months who wish to rehome should familiarise themselves with Lucy’s law May 2019 and see if it is applicable to them.

In cases where the seller takes in the dog for rehoming or assists the owners in finding a new home for their dog the seller will not refund the purchaser price.

The seller’s priority is on finding the correct home for the puppy not enabling the current owners to recoup expenditure.
